WHAT IS INNOVAZUL CARIBE?

A platform for articulation, knowledge, and continuous action.

More than an event: an ecosystem under construction.

InnovAzul Caribe brings together public, private, academic, and community actors in a living process of co-creating blue economy solutions, combining science, innovation, governance, and territorial knowledge.

InnovAzul Caribe 2026

INNOVAZUL CARIBE is an international cooperation platform for a regenerative Blue Economy.

In its 2026 edition, InnovAzul Caribe returns as an event of events connecting science, innovation, culture, and territory. Under the motto "The sea that drives us", Universidad del Magdalena convenes leaders from the Greater Caribbean, Europe, and Latin America to strengthen international cooperation around the Blue Economy.

From Santa Marta - the oldest city on the South American continent - the event seeks to position itself as a strategic platform for the sustainable transformation of marine-coastal territories.

This edition builds synergies with:

  • CEI-MAR (International Campus of Excellence of the Sea)
  • CEMarin (Center of Excellence in Marine Sciences)
  • Blue Economy Innovation Free Zone - Perla del Caribe
  • ALUNA IA ecosystem (Artificial Intelligence with Ancestral Soul)
